I have finished another exam, not sure how I went but I tried my best.
Half of what I studied was in it and pretty confident that I will pass, but the other half - thank you google!
Stilllllll I wish they would make it easier, too many answers that had to make a decision, I suppose that is the nature of multiple choice, so what do I expect??????
Now for the report and presentation to be completed Friday, the corporate event to be finished and my presentation for workplace injuries then I can relax............................. for a week!

Final Days
The perfect news greeted me this morning as I entered the room for Personal Development, our lovely teacher (hopefully that earns me some brownie points) Cherie, is allowing us an extension for our reports and presentations. YEEEHAAA!
After dedicated a lot of time and effort on research, reading, converting and then finding some authors have used my words and ideas, changing my report I finally had all the research material I needed.. Spent most of a beautiful Sunday morning working and went off to soccer finals self satisfied that my assignment was under control after dedicating 3 hours of productive work time...
Then came Monday!!!!!
Sitting down to finalise the report, I come across some technical issues...... My report is MIA.
Not only was all my work from the weekend lost, so was the folder with my nearly completed report, all my research notes, case study data and photos. No issue.... until 2 hours later I finally allowed myself to come to terms with the fact that a dreaded virus had sabotaged my computer and my report was not lost within cyper space. One saving grace was that I was able to retrieve some of the data and partially written report that was previously saved, all was not lost.
After a few tears shed, a comforting embrace from my son, I was back in business, all but minus a case study and a few hours work.
Then came Wednesday!!!!
The virus had caused irrepairable damage to some of my software, I had a powerpoint presentation to do and my Microsoft Office Package was no long working. PANIC! CHAOS!
Then comes Friday!!!!
Managed to complete both assignment and Presentation, with the help of my bro, and a few conversions .Then good news the last couple of rushed, panic stricken days can all be forgotten. As mentioned previously I can now take the time to edit and finalise and not hand in reports and presentations I am not completely happy with.
Thank Goodness for Fridays, thank goodness for understanding teachers..

Good Morning all what a beautiful day in Sydney.
After a slow start to the day, with room and computer issues I can finally sit down and concentrate on my assignment. Unfortunately I am surrounded by a noisy group of fitness students - they are driving me crrrazzzzyyyyy! I keep wanting to join into their conversation, I am facing major concentration issues, I am prone to distraction - does that mean I am ADD?????? HELPPPPPP
Anyway it is a relief to say that we didnt have to sit thru a library tutorial I know it is part of our curriculum and is a tool to helping us learn the most efficient, most informative sites and reference materials to help us explore and write our assignments, but after an hr I am braindead....... and I like GOOGLE! Though I do admit some of it has been helpful.
Now to get my head in the game - is that from High School Musical??? and get this assignment underway.
4 Books at my side, the world web at my disposal....... so bring on The Benefits of Massage on Children.

Another day and other blog!
Good morning all.
Quick Blog to say with my assignment due in 2 weeks I need to spend less time blogging and concentrate on my project.
My case study was delayed slightly due to my son being ill, but the massaging has recommenced and back on track.

2nd week and there is progress I have decided on my topic for Professional Development. My assignment will be on the 'Benefits of Massage on Children'. Il base my research on changes (if any) in behaviour, concentration and sleep patterns.
There will be a slight variation in topics as I will be including statistics and research on children afflicted with ADD and ADHD and a case study using my own son Jake, as a guinea pig, to test and observe in a less clinical format.
The case study has already commenced and I think I have made a grave error of judgement. I now walk through the door after a busy day and information overloaditis to find a near naked boy lying on a bed, already draped with oil close at hand. Maybe I should have based this thesis on 'Massage Addicts'!
On another note, this morning we had an information session with the lovely librarian Heather who has made our job a little easier. After going through in great details various search engine tricks, databases and beneficial websites I now look at starting my research with a little less trepidation and a lot more optimism. Thank you Heather.
Now to finish the Blog for the day, see what my fellow students are doing and get on with my project.
